Description
A steam-air retort uses a mixture of steam and air overpressure to process the containers of product. The steam-air mixture is circulated using a large circulation fan built into the retort. Chapters 1-6 will provide a general understanding of retorts and how they work, why they are used, and how to do your job as a retort operator. Chapter 7-9 will provide a general understanding of steam-air retorts and how they are designed, how they operate in detail, what records you should keep regarding them, and how to handle deviations
You will have 30 days to complete this course once it is started.
